Indian Sitar 1960's

A student here at Bentley Guitar Studios was awarded this Sitar back in the 1960's from a drawing. We do not have anymore background although the workmanship, materials, and design elements are similar to a Rikhi Ram and Sons Sitar from the same period. Rikhi Ram Sitars are the makers of the Sitars bought and played by the Beatles.
Our repairman Jake Rife just finished cleaning, restringing with Labella Sitar strings, and checking setup. It is an 18 string instrument and we do not have a case. In store pickup only.
